Shopping Mall Shootings
After the shootings at Tyson’s Corner and Victorville, Md., police are asking people to go to the Lucky Samurai near the Tyson’s Corner mall in search of their loved ones. Police Chief Brittain has promised to hold those responsible for the shootings “accountable.” The attack occurred during the lunch rush. While no one has been injured in the shooting, many people were left scared and upset.
Gastonia, N.C., mall shooting
Multiple people were injured in a shooting at a mall in Gastonia, North Carolina, today. Three people were taken to the hospital after being shot, but are expected to survive. The shooting occurred in a parking lot, and two victims ran to a nearby food court area. One victim was found outside of the mall, near the mall’s food court. Police have charged a 17-year-old man with multiple counts of assault with a deadly weapon. The police chief said it is too early to determine if the suspect knew the victims. The gun and magazine were found in a food court.
Garden City, N.Y., mall shooting
A shopping mall in Garden City, New York, has been the scene of a shooting today. The mall, located in the Garden City and Uniondale section of the town, is a complex designed by famous architect I. M. Pei. It is one of the largest shopping malls on Long Island and the eighth largest in the United States. There was no immediate word on who was responsible for the attack.
Tyson’s Corner mall shooting

The suspect in the Uniondale, S.C., mall shooting, Jewayne M. Price, is charged with unlawful carrying of a firearm and other charges may be filed against him. Police say two other men were not involved in the shooting. They have not been arrested. As of today, police have not released the exact number of people who were shot. The victims range in age from 15 to 73.
